Having done many trips with Kauli Seadi over the past, photographer & filmmaker Brendan Pyatt built up a close relationship with the three times world champion. From this friendship Kauli asked umi to take over a special project: putting together a portrait of his windsurfing of the last four years. Kauli and his friends documented most of the trips they went on, leaving them with hours and hours of footage from a variety of locations. But what to do with all this raw action? Who you gonna call? Yes, umi! The film shows Kauli in Chile, Cape Verde, at home in Brazil, Maui and Jaws and also features a chapter on the PWA events, a look at his amazing competition performances.
